A collaboration between leading research libraries and academic publishers around the globe, CLOCKSS is a digital preservation archive for scholarly content. It focuses on content licensed or published by research libraries, and is currently entrusted to preserve more than 46 million journal articles and 260,000 books. A project initiated by NYU Libraries brought together preservation services and publishers concerned about the long-term survival of their most innovative publications. Their research led to a set of guidelines to make these new forms of scholarship more preservable, and a second phase of the project is focusing on embedding preservation specialists into publisher workflows to help test and implement these guidelines. This is the first collection in a series that Erasmus Smith Schools have digitally preserved and shared through DRI. The collection contains high resolution images of architectural plans of primary schools that were funded by the Erasmus Smith Schools educational charity, mainly from the early nineteenth century.
